For those days that you want something that is rich and chocolaty but don’t want the sugar crash that is sure to come afterward, try making this recipe for Avocado Chocolate Pudding. The texture closely resembles that of a pudding made with milk but has many more added health benefits.
Avocados are naturally rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and are amazing for keeping skin, hair and nails healthy and strong. They also contain high amounts of Fiber and Vitamin K which is needed for strong bones and to help maintain healthy blood clotting.
1 medium ripe avocado
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine all of the above ingredients into a food processor, process until completely smooth and there aren’t any remaining lumps. Transfer to a small bowl and chill for at least 1 hour, longer is better if you have the time. Serve cold and enjoy!
